Flat Clear Lacquer with Acrylic Paint

Im planning on painting a body today and was just wandering if it is alright to spray a lacquer clear over an acrylic paint job. The paint job will be flat black and dullcoated over that to protect it.

I've done it lots of times .

just to be safe , you might want to spray a test piece to see first

some brands just don't play well

I use Testor's dullcote all the time on acrylics for my resin kits. I've never run into a problem. But I agree to test it on scrap plastic first.
