Dirkpitt289 Posted January 18, 2012 Author Posted January 18, 2012 Another in this genre of movies is KillDozer wherein a bulldozer on a remote Island (I think) hits an asteroid that had crashed iinto the Earth and the dozer comes to life and starts killing people. I remember watching this many, many years ago and am a little fuzzy on the whole story line but that's the jist of it. I remember seeing Killerdozer as a kid. Watching it now. I was surprised to see Robert Urich was in it. He was one of my favorite actors
Joker Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 I remember the best part of the Car was the awesome TRAIN HORN .
Patrick2005 Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 I like how Stephen King plays a bit part in Maximum Overdrive in the very beginning when the machines start to go nuts. He's at the ATM and he says "Honey the machine just called me an ***hole!" lol That always makes me laugh. Also the part where the ice cream truck flips and comes at the camera was a complete accident and nearly killed the camera-man
Chuck Most Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 One of the cinemetographers literally lost an eye during a mishap shooting the runaway lawnmower scene.
Patrick2005 Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 I remember reading about that as well. I liked how you could clearly see the crew in the reflection off the trucks chrome bumpers too.
Chuck Most Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 And it was produced by Dino De Laurentiis. His granddaughter has a show on Food Network, or so I hear.
Rdkingjay Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Giada, or something like that. HOOOOTT!! Or so I hear
Chuck Most Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Giada, or something like that. HOOOOTT!! Or so I hear I've been watching her show for about two years. I still don't know how to turn on my oven.
