maltsr Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Hi everyone, I am a member of Miniature Petrol Heads, a model club here in New Zealand. The club displays at an annual hot rod and classic car show held locally in Auckland. You are welcomed to view this year's display at the following link: http://s1222.photobucket.com/albums/dd481/maltsr/Kumeu%202012/ Cheers Paul
peekay Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 WOW! Some great looking models there. Brought on a bout of home sickness. Thanks for sharing.
espo Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Great looking models. Always interesting how shows go in different parts of the world. Question about the display. I see several models grouped together on a display shelf. Are these from one builder, or are the competing in the same "class" ?
maltsr Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 Thanks for your question David. Some of the displays are by one builder such as the rally cars (all tobacco sponsored, very non pc!), the original builds from the '70's (by a member in his youth) etc. Mostly the displays were grouped together by style/era of car, and the show was just that, a display to promote our club.
