Anyone know of a kit of an early 80's Kawasaki GPZ1100 ?

I'm hoping to do a build of a friends bike for next Christmas but am having trouble finding one , the bike is a 1981 Kawasaki GPZ1100 , like the photo below (scrounged off Google , not my friends bike) ,

Does anyone know of any kit's or even diecast bikes availible of this bike or something close enough to modify please ?

I think Aoshima's 1/12 Z1R would be a good starting point.

Tamiya offered that kit in 1/8 scale. They may have offered it in 1/12 as well but I'm not sure. I remember my friend having the big scale one though.

Heller made a couple of Z1000s in 1/8 scale; a street bike and a racer.

Excellent , thank's for the tips everyone (especially the Heller one , that hadn't come up in any of my searches ) , I'll start searching now and see what I can get a hold of and start modifying

I think I have a Union kit of that bike. It might be another brand, I'll have to take a look at the box to refresh my recollection...

Found it... at least the one I was thinking of.

1/16th scale Union KZ1000D Z1-R. Not sure how different they are once scaled down. And there may be the version you requested specifically too. I'll try to check my inventory for it next time I'm there.
