On two tone paint jobs so i wet sand/polish before i clearcoat each color or just clear coat then wet sand/polish the clear coat.

All i have is the small sanding blocks up to 12000 and scratch x right now. Not really sure what order to do it in.

On my monaco i sprayed then wet sanded and the paint got dull, I thought about wet sanding somemore but i had to fix the areas that i left bare. So when i resprayed it came out pretty good so i left it.

Both of my current builds are two tone right now and i would rather not mess up and have to restart the painting again.

Thanks in advance Earle

when wet sanding i wet sand each coat prior to next coat with 2500...then clear coat and wet sand prior to next coat with 2500... on the final coat of clear wet sand from 8000 up to 12000 but be careful not to burn through. once i'm done with the 12000 then i take a clean piece of cotton tshirt or something simlar... apply the rubbing compound and rub in well till left with a cloudy dry coat... then take a new lint free cloth and continue buffing till the shine comes out . you can apply wax or polish after to enhance the shine more if needed.

hope that helps you out
