Patrick2005 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I'm curious about that too because I have a '68 Charger already done up that I want to enter.
Erik Smith Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I'm curious about that too because I have a '68 Charger already done up that I want to enter. So what you are saying is "how do I get around the rules of this competition and enter a kit I already built"? I don't think that's the spirit. Enter your Charger in another contest and build to the rules for this competition, not around (or under) them.
FASTBACK340 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Well, looks like a decent mix of sheet metal this time around. Fords...Chevies...Mopars... even Pontiac & Olds! Should be interesting..... Geee... which one do you think I'm going to build?
Dr. Cranky Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Although I am sitting this one out, it sounds like the contest will motivate you into building yet another model for your collection, and that's always a great thing.
thumper86 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 You do not have to have proof of purchase ! you can use one from your stash if you like . Revell said this today on there facebook page .

DON-T2 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 In the box stock class can you use decals other than those supplied with the kit? This is usually standard for box stock. To answer one of the questions the rules state ONE entry per person.
Patrick2005 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I think I'm going to build a COPO Nova/Yenko Deuce in the Unlimited Class. All I need is a nice 350. Also I look at the entry form and the current eligible models aren't listed.

deja-view Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 The idea is to buy Revell models....whether you build them or not. :-p
hotrodblder Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Is there a more complete list of the rule someplace as to what you can and can't do in the different categories? I would like to have something to go off of so I know which one to enter into so I don't enter the wrong one and possibly get dq'd.
Terry Sumner Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Look what my LHS guy gave me. The store promotional package for the 2012 Gearz contest. His shop has zero wall space available so he gave it to me. The top wide poster is about 2 1/2 feet wide.... No big deal I guess but cool nonetheless! I suppose I'll find a spot on the wall for it when I get to remodeling the shop! Hosted on Fotki
