Harry P. Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Nowadays I use Photoshop to "draw" my illustrations, but back in the old days (before PS existed!) I did them the old-fashioned way...airbrushed acrylics on illustration board, with fine details added by hand with a small brush (and plenty of clogged nozzles, paint bleeding under the frisket, running out of a particular color at the worst possible time, etc.) This one is approx. 12x20 and dates from 1993 (way back!!!)...
mikelo Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 That looks like it goes back prior to styling snafus.(LOL) Still looks great. Nice subject.
sjordan Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 My favorite automotive subject, beautifully done.
gbritnell Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Great work Harry. I'm afraid I've been away from my airbrush for so long I'd have to almost start over again. The only thing I use it for now is painting models. You certainly don't need 'the touch' for painting plastic models. gbritnell
