Any Way to loosen old glued Parts

Any Tips on how to get and old glued styrene engine parts to loosen up so i can disassemble without damaging the parts?

If you dip it in water and then freeze it it might start to come apart.

Exactly right depending on the glue and the amount of glue!

I have a Dodge 4x4 siting in the purple pond trying to loosen the glue and strip the paint but it has not worked yet. Been siting in the pond for almost 2 months. I need to find something a lil stronger to loosen and strip it.

But I have had luck with this method MANy time before. All depends on the glue and the paint.
