so far...

wheels and tires and a few more accessories from a die cast car... lots more to do yet. unfortunately the windshield and the rear glass are deformed (missing part of them) when I took them out of the package... and I have no reciept so I may have to find another kit to finish it. I don't have an airbrush so my paintjobs are rattle can... not the best but they do.

Well ain't this funny, two Scale 4X4 R/C guys on MCM. :D

Nice work. I'm not fan of the big wheels, but you can't go wrong with a black Trans Am.

Great start. The paint looks fine. Nothing a little rubbing can't fix. I like what you did with the hood. :D

I'm not picking on anyone specific here but why is everyone so quick to knock the big rims? I'm no pioneer here..chip foose has been doing it for years... I like 15 inch wheels too... but the times are changing and we have sweet looking 19's and 20's now!!! I happen to like the larger wheels as long as you don't have to raise the car to put them on. in this case the car almost sits stock height but has the larger wheels... I like it that's why I'm building it. so if all you are going to do is make comments on how big my wheels are and not on my model building then keep it to yourself. :D thanks

Awww Mannn. I only like the big wheels if it's raised up from stock. I'm kidding, it's more like aluminum slots and sidepipes, and I don't care if someone else doesn't like it, and say's so(or even gives a little razzing in fun) ..............it's their opinion(most seemed in favor of your wheels anyway) and personal taste, we are entitled. America, and this board, are beautiful that way. aack Personally, I don't dig the big wheels so much, but I like your model. Interior and hood look cool(to those that don't think so, I apologize heehee) What's planned for the motor?

I use a micro-mesh sanding kit, Meguiars cleaner polish and Wizards shine master polish and sealant to smooth paint, same as on 1:1 cars. Yours looks like it has the potential to be smooth and glassy. I've polished worse with good results, just take your time to avoid dreaded burn through.

Nuff said, uh, maybe I should have said nothing, and just went to sleep.

BTW Almost every model built is an expression of personal taste, except the ones that I'm forced to build.

it's just been so repetitive I got tired of it... not so much at this forum because I just joined it... I was trying to nip it in the bud before it got to far out of hand that's all. I welcome crits and tips... but no need to knock my taste.

oh yea...it's got a nascar engine in it...modified some tho... pics soon.
