Hot Rods to He--?

Any of you old farts remember this movie? I saw it twice, the last time prolly '70-'71? It was a horrible flick but had an awesome '58-'62 vette gasser style street rod. I'd LOVE to see it again!

I haven't seen it but you just reminded me of Two Lane Blacktop, a movie about almost nothing, but man that was a tuff Chevy!

Where do you even find these old movies anymore lol?

I just checked out 2-lane black top from my local library not long ago on DVD. All kinds of behind the scenes, & history of the cars & actors. Quite riveting for us car guys.

The first time I saw it was at the drive-in movies in the late '60s. It still pops up on TCM from time to time.

Here's a screen shot of the movie.............judging by the hood on that 'Vette, I'm sure it's a '58.

..........And yeah, the movie was pretty cheasy, but the cars were great!
