this was a danbury mint 1/24th scale diecast model 1936 ford 3-window coupe. all danbury mint 36 ford coupes are black. this car was a little distressed when i got it. it was missing some pieces and the paint was a mess with scratches and chips.rather than turn it into a junkyard or barn find car like i would normally do i decided to strip it down and repaint it white. i took the missing parts from other 36 fords i have lying around. i put all real glass in the model and i gave it a high gloss hard to see in the pictures but you get the idea. hope some like it

Nice looking build. I like the background too.

Just a small tip on photography. Manny to get a better picture, buy one of those attachable desk lamps with the florescent light and you'll get some really nice looking pictures.

thanks for the tip. i have one of those with a double florescent bulb but not when these photos were taken.
