SuperStockAndy Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Wasn't sure whether to post this here or in the diorama section, so mods feel free to move it if need be. Alright, I'm wanting to build a diorama on a very cheap budget. I want it to be a shop/garage scene. Anyone got any tips on how to do that? Thanks!
crazyjim Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Buy cheap materials?? Sorry, I'm not much a diorama person, but I couldn't resist.
Bartster Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 I'm not much on dios, but I always look at every day objects & try to imagine how I can incorporate them into my models. Look at all things small from all angles and before you know it, you'll see a workbench, or a bench vise, or who knows. Toys are a great place to start. I have used many of my kids old toys or parts of them fot things they weren't meant for! I would guess at your age you have everything in your room, house & garage without buying a thing. Imagination is the key. Empty CO2 cartridges make great acetylene tanks e.g. Pry it out of your mind & make it happen!
