modelbuilder22 Posted February 18, 2012 Author Posted February 18, 2012 figured i would try it, it was only 97 cents. yeah its kind of thick so i figured i would have to thin. i put some primer on a plastic spoon and then put the paint on. it turned out better then i thought it would. trying to find a yellow in dupli-color is harder then i thought went to three stores and couldnt find a freakin yellow
modelbuilder22 Posted February 18, 2012 Author Posted February 18, 2012 thanks for the help really appericate it
greymack Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 I have used this paint it work but you have to thin it alot to spray with a airbrush. It also works great for brush paint jobs
Mercman Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 You might also check Hobby Lobby, and Michael's for colors. They also have different brands. Most of my paints are like these, but then I do diorama's.
modelbuilder22 Posted February 18, 2012 Author Posted February 18, 2012 i got both gray and white primer, so ill shot some white primer on the body. i tried the gray primer with yellow on a plastic spoon and had to do three coats to cover it.
weasel Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 i'm a firm believer in using acrylics for interior work, highlites, dry brushing, etc... and the best part, if you don't like it, wash it off!!! never sprayed any of this tho'.....
Eshaver Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 I buy that paint from Michiaels Art stores too............ Generally works well. Ed Shaver
