Mr. Can Am Garage Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 Painted Monaco Orange with black vinyl top over a black interior and redlines. I borrowed a technique from the military modelers and put a wash around all of the opening panels (doors, trunk basically). I think it adds a lot to the finished project.
bsoder Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 Very nice build! of in my H.O a pretty lousy kit but you got it looking great..B

RJWood Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Great looking Chevelle, And you did a fantastic job on the vinyl top. And yea, the kit is kinda bad, but your work makes it look like it was a Tamaya kit. Outstanding!
Pat Cardz Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Very nice, goes to show with a little care those metal axle AMT kits can turn out to be great looking models. BTW what your top made from??
crispy Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 John, that looks great! I cannot comment on the kit. I own it, but it's not open. However your build looks fantastic. That build would make me want to build one. Great work! Chris
