Takymoto Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Looking to purchase a set of BBS LM's from either Fuijimi or Aoshima. My question is which company makes the more realistic wheel?
Roadkill2525 Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 (edited) the Aoshima set is a two piece wheel, staggered width and has better detail. Edited February 24, 2012 by Roadkill2525
martinfan5 Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 I been using fujimi tire and wheel sets, and they are staggered as well, and the detail is good, but I dont think I have used a aoshima tire/wheel set so I can not compare. If you dont need the tires, there is hobby design wheels, I just bought two sets, and the quality of the ones I got are really good, and you get metal valve steams with them. I am going to give aoshima wheels a try and see for myself .
martinfan5 Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 One other things for you, depending on the wheels you get, and the model you put them, there may be some work required to get them to work, I think Roadkill can explain what works with what, has I can not remember at the moment
Takymoto Posted February 24, 2012 Author Posted February 24, 2012 (edited) I read a post somewhere about some wheels requiring metal axles I believe. But I'm sure any wheel can be modified to fit. Edited February 24, 2012 by Takymoto
