Evil Appetite
I bought a Fujifilm FinePix S2950, for the price it's a fantastic camera...It's like having a highend camera that only cost $200 bucks...
MikeMc
look for an optical zoom...at least 7 to 1. A 3x optical zoom will not be enough and Digital zoom makes the image suffer http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7283407&CatId=5295 This is a couple bucks higher...but quite a camera....Tiger Direct owns Comp USA, so they are a quality outfit. Side note I have used Tiger for 5 computers and 3 cameras...never an issue....If you are patient they are always running savings deals. Erik Smith
It's really amazing the quality of camera you can get for such little money! The camera Mike pointed you to is a great choice - and remember, most stores have the camera on display, so you can go and play with before you buy. Try the different settings and shoot some photos of black text on the display stand. Then you can review the image and zoom in to see how well the camera does with fine detail. As has been pointed out above - make sure you get OPTICAL zoom. Digital zoom is nothing more than in camera cropping.
