Very cool build. Definately the cream of the crop. was it a rocky road on the way to completion? Seriously though this is something I've been wanting to do for years. Maybe this will be my inspiration to do mine.

Man, I need to talk to you! I've been trying to start on a project like this for a long time except with a 51 Chev truck. I've got a bunch of pictures of ice cream trucks and now seeing yours I might just get started. Mine will come to life as a restored one with all late model running gear.
