stump Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Oh my ........... Man...talk about being lost for words.....John, simply AWESOME ! I can't believe you've only been at this a little over a month....that's simply incredible considering the amount of work I'm seeing before me.... So sorry I didn't get in earlier man, but I'm sure glad I found it now.
Sixx Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 John , man, you are a true ARTIST. I just had to say, just how much I've been digging all of your ARTWORK here & in the magazine. Man, you and Clay Kemp just trip me out, you guys are MASTER ARTISTS!!! not just model builders. Thank you for sharing your ART with us
Wagoneer81 Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Chris......thank you for the kind comments.......this conversion is not perfect.......so I would feel guilty if I had these resin cased...... and people would be disappointed......but,thank you for your suggestion. Ok, fair enough... I do see where you're going with this. Still, you did a fine job on the conversion. There's enough Freightliner there to do it justice!
Art Laski Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Looking good, Brother John! Can't wait to see it.

Wagoneer81 Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Seriously John, is there anything you can't do? I was wondering the same thing, just now... I'm thinking the proper answer would be "Well, I never learned to play the piano."... This is really inspiring, John! Excellent work! Please, excuse me now while I get my sorry butt off the 'Net and in front of the workbench!

sak Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 I would like to say first that of all your projects, this has to be the one I have the least interest in. But the techniques that are involved in it are a awesome teaching tool for everyone. Or should be. One thing in particular I would like to see more of is the way you get the tiresto look so real. JJ
