I got a new off-road helmet and goggles. $177.47 after taxes. Now Little Red is going in for a brake check and getting new tires. Here's the helmet. Flat black HJC brand ADULT EXTRA LARGE. I have a big head. The goggles are Oakleys. My first new helmet since 2002, when we got our four wheelers.

Here is the inside.

how is the riding in your area? is it very dry or do you guys have alot of rain/mud?

Well 50/50. Today it was snowing like we were in alaska. None of it stuck though. Its great because tomorrow, almost a whole day of riding with a new helmet since 2002. It's funny because if you don't like the weather in New Mexico, just wait a minute, it'll change. And just 5 minutes ago, I used the goggles case to clean my helmet, after 1 minute of riding. I was starting to ride today, then I went over to my friends house to show him my helmet.

of course, the helmet is pointless without the ride

As a long time rider (35+ years) if you wear a helmet...You need a new one every couple of years, or after an impact...I have always worn Bell open face and worth every penny.

I posted a picture of me 6 inches under. I sat in the mud and first gear pulling the brakes just digging my own grave. Although in that picture I have my old helmet. It was great because my dad needed the winch he had on his four wheeler.

No the goggles aren't auto dimming. I don't really need them with the visor.

Here's the picture of me 6 in. down.

DigDownDeep-1.jpg I deleted the picture of me not blurred, but trust me, its me.

i use my bike as comuter a lot, this time of year, getting out of work with the sun low in the sky, trust me, i want autodimmer

i prefer riding in the cold and i think poor conditions make for a better ride. some of the best rides ever have been in snow or rainy conditions and a lot of those rides were finished well into the night. i don't like riding in the summer months or when it's very dry.

even though i don't like riding in the heat or dry i'd still really like to ride places like Glamis however, looks like a lot of fun.

i just took the bike out for a spin

everything is bone dry out there but i hit a cornfield and it was muck city

rooster tailed up to the back off my helmet and it dropped me down from hauling in 3rd to barely moving in 1st

(i run a street legal enduro tire so its not as grabby in mud as a knobby would be)

I just took Little Red out for a ride. Dry, but some good weather. I cant go out and ride in the woods and stuff by myself so we got a little back lot that me and my friend ride.

I found one that will match you Diymirage.

hey that is a nice looking helmet

i wonder if that one wasnt out yet when i bought mine last

but if i had the money laying around to throw on it, that would make a good back seat passenger helmet
