Fading Paint?

How do I fade paint to look like it sat in the sun for years? The color is hemi orange.

Apply clear flat as needed may work.

I read somewhere to use alcohol but I don't think that would work.

Yep some 70% rubbing alcohol will definitely help knock that shine down. The use of flat clears and grey washes will also serve to make things look faded.
