Progress so far... sorry if the photos are a bit blurry, my camera is ancient!

I made a mistake trying to apply a tiny decal to the centre of the steering wheel tonight. It was in place, I tried to make a tiny adjustment and made a mess of it, though I guess that's inevitable at first... still annoying though! Just attempted another one and it went on fine, practice makes perfect!

Ross, your pictures show great progress so far. In spite of the small decal mishap, I'm thinking that you're having a great time with this build!

Thanks Bill, I'll admit I let out a little expletive when I mucked that decal up, but it's tiny and I'm thinking about cutting up a small bit of one I no longer need so the centre of the wheel doesn't look too empty. I painted two small parts rather than applying the solid blue decals so I could trim that to the right shape - it won't be perfect but it will at least break the wheel up from being just plain black.

Yeah, the Mclarens (Jenson in particular) look to be pretty quick straight out the box... should be a good battle between them and Red Bull this year (with Mercedes, Lotus and Ferrari - well, Alonso at least - nipping at their heels!)
