Hey everybody just picked this kit up today after some of you all recommend it for a first semi so I would like to see some pictures of it completed so if you have ever built this kit feel free to show yours off.

Ok, here you go: Basic black & chrome. Swapped out the kits Caterpiller 3406 with a Cummins NTC350 Big Cam III (well, sort of), relocated the molded on marker lights to their correct location on top of the headlight buckets, added the roof wing from P & P Resin Works (narrowed it down to 72"), and added a fifth wheel grab handle from a straight pin.

yeah i know you cut t he aerodyne rased roof off and just use a flat top cap its now worse then opening doors

I would stick with hobby link. If your going to do a lot of chopping ,dicing. And if you goof up you got extra parts,with not a lot of cost.

Three shipped for $60.00 is a pretty good deal!

Our local Hobby Lobby has them for around $25.00 regular price. Next time I get down there with a 40% off coupon, I'll add another to my stash... I have one built and another W900 project 'on-deck'.

Since it's such a nice, warm, sunny day, I figure I'd get my first one out, dust it off and take some outdoor pics...

This is the best price I have found. I ordered two of these w900's a couple weeks ago, 5 days they were in my mail box.

i never built theses kits before the only thing i have heard bad was that the tires are junk?? But for under 20 bucks im sure i can figure it out

He is one that I built box stock in 1982 using Monogram kit 1501 Kenworth Aerodyne snap kit. Paint is Duplicolor dark metallic blue for body and Testors black for chassis.

Thought I recognized the decals. That's what my black one started out as. What strange plastic! It was sort of translucent. Very wierd.

hey heres mine.. i made a custom sleeper on it and lowered the front down alittle bit... i think it came out ok. the possibilities are endless for these kits as well as the pete 359 kits. anyways heres big blue.

Freightshaker, very nice rig, you did a great job on the sleeper. Were did you get the train horns????? I am looking for some for my W900 build.

I use k&s tubing as well. It works very well for stacks. And Inky, he train horns I mde myself, just take some air horns out of the parts box cut em down n take a piece of scrap plastic n make ur horns... It's all about creativity in this hobby.
