So, my first pick-up truck. I'm not doing a body drop or a lift with it, just normal height, original wheels/tires. Don't know about the paint yet, open to all ideas, as well as the interior.

And, if anyone needs the instruction sheet, let me know, because I haven't found one online yet.

I would paint it olympic white, with a grey interior. Otherwise you could do a newer model year cobalt blue metallic.

Got the interior halfway done, now i need to sand the seats and paint them. Painted with Tamiya Deck Tan and detailed with Tamiya Flat Aluminum.

yes, the engine paint and build up looks great. As far as what color for the body, I don't know. I'd like to see it as a daily driver. And subtle weathering as light dusting like the owner hasn't washed it in 2 weeks.

So, the whole interior finished.

Now, I'll try to find a suitable color for the chassis and body. Suggestions are welcome.

The chassis on this truck is black , thats how it comes from the factory, a semi gloss or satin black will work

Got the undercarriage finally done, engine and drivedrain installed.

EDIT : Forgot to add, that I primed the body as well.

Looks good!

Take care when inserting the interior into the body. When it looks right to the Mk 1 eyeball, the interior is actually a bit to high, and the dash interferes with the windshield.

The chassis looks great, I agree it what G said, and I had problems with the front bumper as well.

Update Time!!

Painted the body and the bed, as well as the hood but paint started to run, so going to respray tomorrow. The bed will be painted flat black inside.

looks like black...but the bed is telling me its an dark emerald green i take it?....cool...just wish i had mine...id be modifing it beyond recognition

Yeah, basically got this model finished also, need to paint mirrors and then it is completed.
