As for using a computer, why not use (and get to know) one at a nearby library? ......The local library is a 40 mile round trip & I do go occasionally. They have 2 computers that are ALWAYS being used. The one time I could sit at one, I asked for assistance & the librarian gave me instructions as if I knew what I was doing. When I explained that I literally knew nothing about computers, she very kindly said she didn't have time to teach me. Of course she didn't & I was asked to let the next person in line have the seat. Perfectly understandable. It's a shame that I waited so long to want to learn. There is literally no one that will believe me when I say I know nothing. Even at the unemployment office last year, the lady helping me snickered and continued to give me instructions as if I operated one every day. I assume she was trying to teach me how their software works(?) instead of teaching me how the computer works. It really is hard for people to believe there are still people out here who are computer illiterate. OK. 'Nuff rambling. I LOVE model cars, so I'm willing to play the fool to "play" with my cars! Thanks for putting up with me.
