The interior and engine are now complete. Since last update I added the steering wheel and gear shift, connected all the interior connections

to the engine (fuel line, battery, switch box and starter) I wired the alternator and added a bracket to it so it wasn't floating in the air

I added the coil, radiator and throttle linkage. Scratch Built a firewall

with dashboard.

What's that engine you got there?

Great job so far, detailing is great, and very clean job, I mean that there are no mistakes. I'm not an expert of these Demolition Derby cars, but it looks to me, that those exhaust pipes are too tall. Can bolts keep that much of weight in the engine block while racing? Is that somekind of Roll Bar in the interior?

Thanks for the compliments, The engine is a Buick "Nailhead V-8" 425 C.I. 360hp and it came out of a 1966 Buick Rivera model kit. Yeah sometimes the derby drivers get wild with the headers but they reinforce them to the engine really well. The cage is just basically a steel box so the driver will be protected in his seat from all 4 sides if he gets hit.
