Erik Smith Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Just came across this seller on eBay. Looks like they are flooding the market before the Revell kits hit the shelves? 10 kits for $80?? No decals, though. They also have them listed $10 each, $7 for shipping...hmmm... Disclaimer - I am in no way affiliated with this seller
Darin Bastedo Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 That is a heck of a good deal. the 10 for 80 deal works out less than $10 per kit even after shipping!
torinobradley Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 (edited) Looks like we found out what happened to those kits AM was "throwing away". I could use a couple extra of these, anyone want to go in fifths? (1/5ths that is.) The way I figure it with the secondary shipping it would bring them to about $24 a pair. Dr. Cranky Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 I just got mine, I am going to do an "unboxing" video of it. Stay tuned in.
mikemodeler Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Stopped in a LHS yesterday and they had this kit on the shelf in the Revell packaging for $22.49. Sounds like you found a good deal and if you are going to build them, then get em!
jbwelda Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 thanks for pointing that out. these are the 2nd gen kits right? just the motors are worth 10$ each if you ask me.
torinobradley Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 I asked the seller about the photo-etch frets and he basically said what you see is what you get... I don't see the photo-etch. As mentioned, the motors are worth the price of admission.
