Revell of Germany Beal Chrome Tanker Build Up?

I have seen some great build ups of this kit here. I have two of these kits that I want to eventually convert into fire service tankers. I do have the SAE article from several years ago that lists the suggestions. Any feedback on how they are to build, or any tips? All comments would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I have built one myself and they go together pretty good.

However if you plan on keeping it chrome be very careful because it will rub off real easy.

I've built it as well and my advice is wear rubber gloves.

i built 5 of these.first is to check the chrome with you finger..some have good chrome and some rub right off the sides..
