hi all.

here is my almost finished tiger 1.

it is the academy kit in 1;35 scale. I've had this kit sat about for years and so i thought id dig it out and get it started.

the only thing left to do is paint the crew and a set of panzer riders for the deck.

the main kit is built oob and all the other accessories are parts i had laying around or are scratch built.

the flag has just been printed on normal A4 paper and soaked in water and pva glue. it caused the colours to run a bit but i actually like the faded worn look of it.

I like it. The mud is something else, how'd you do that?

thanks. the mud is made with pva glue. i added brown colour paints, sand and model grass. Then i stirred it all together to make a mess lol.

then i brushed it onto all the places i wanted it with an old brush. After it had dried i applied gloss varnish to give it a wet look in parts.
