Very nice. I've been thinking of getting this kit for some time and you've just made up my mind.

I like the look of these two. Go rust! Just a shame the pictures arent a little clearer to show them off more.

thanks. the mud is made with pva glue. i added brown colour paints, sand and model grass. Then i stirred it all together to make a mess lol. then i brushed it onto all the places i wanted it with an old brush. After it had dried i applied gloss varnish to give it a wet look in parts.

hi all. here is my almost finished tiger 1. it is the academy kit in 1;35 scale. I've had this kit sat about for years and so i thought id dig it out and get it started. the only thing left to do is paint the crew and a set of panzer riders for the deck. the main kit is built oob and all the other accessories are parts i had laying around or are scratch built. the flag has just been printed on normal A4 paper and soaked in water and pva glue. it caused the colours to run a bit but i actually like the faded worn look of it. hope you like. I've got more pics but I've ran out of upload.

Looks good. You should dust the windscreen up a bit though it looks too clean. The Toyota looks cool.

Thanks for the comments guys. It came out ok for a quick build. What's the best thing to use to polish the paint? Never had to do it before as I've only done bangers up till now. Lol. Agree about the seams to be honest I ment to do them but got a little carried away with the airbrush first.

hi i just finished this build. i built it for my girlfriend and she wanted it in pink so here it is. its a box stock tamiya kit apart from the dice on the rear view they are an eyebrow piercing ring.why not! i thought id do just minimal weathering to it so i just airbrushed a dirt shade around the bottom part of the car.

hi all after the comments on the kit roof i decided to have a go at making a different roof for the bus. i cut the material from a canvas bug and soaked it in watered down pva glue to get it to hold shape. then i gave it a quick spray with the airbrush to give some age. hope you like it, please let me know what you think.

Hi thanks for all the comments. I agree with people about the kit canvas roof. I have just replaced it with a material one. I will add pics tomorrow of it. The drip drains are moulded in to the roof I'm afraid I can't take credit for that lol. Again thanks for the comments.

hi everybody. This is my finished samba bus. its the revell kit in 1:24. im not at all impressed with this kit at all. The roof was badly warped and the fit was very poor in places. but I've done my best with it and here are the results, hope you like it. it was all box stock exept the reg plates are made out of beer can to get the thickness correct. ( thats my excuse anyway) i left the inside clean as i like the look of it better that way.

Thanks for that. I can see what people are saying regards the wheels and tyres. But to be honest in person they look far more weathered than the photos show for some reason. But like you said its a beat up runner not a junker. Glad you all like it it was great fun to build and paint. Already started my samba bus so I'll get some pics up soon as pos. Thank you all for the comments and I'm really glad I found such a good forum.
