need help

iam building a 69 camaro ss mpc kit, it is missing a few engine parts. does anyone know what engine the 69 had i know its not the z28. any help would be really appericated. i was wanting to know so i could order me the right eninge

Richie, the MPC 69 Camaro is really NOT all that great a kit to start with! If you REALLY want a NICE 69 Camaro, the Revell Camaro, in any of it's varients is the best place to start. The body lines on the MPC Camaro are almost as bad as the old Monogram 1/24th Camaro. As for your question, The Camaro, for 69 came with anything from a straight six to the 307 V8 to the monster 427 L-88 all aluminum big block. Hth.

I'll agree with George, the Revell Camaro is a far superior kit. However, to answer the question, the MPC kit has a 396 Big Block Chevy in it.

i already got this kit and my brother wants it build and i have been slacking on it . just needed what engine it came with cause i still learning about cars. thanks for help guys.
