CHEVY2MUCH Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 looking for engine/interior photos for this car not to many on the web.
John Pol Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Well good luck I have about 1500 magazines and build the Grumpys Toys. And even in the magazines no detail shoots of those areas.Unless someone was that the track where he raced and took photos of it. All I can tell you that is was a 4 speed car with hurst shifter, The gas tank is white the engine is black he had a bench seat no roll bar. Full exhaust that hook up to the headers. Anything else you want to know about the car just ask and PM me. I know this car from memory when he raced here in Canada. John Pol
CHEVY2MUCH Posted April 4, 2012 Author Posted April 4, 2012 was this car a aluminum headed car or aluminum intake i have one photo that looks like bucket seats ive had one guy say buckets and you are saying bench.on you tube there is a video called pro stock early years a little ways into it it shows a car inside that looks like the nova and it looks like buckets watch n give ur opinion.
John Pol Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 (edited) When he first build the 68 Nova it had a bench seat. He mit of change it down the road but a dealt that everymuch. The one the guy is refuring to is the restored 68 nova and it has bucket seats in a roll bar. The real McCoy did not. If yo use the motor from Old Pro nova you should be ok. And also you have to do the vanel roof for it. When I build mine I remove all the badges and used photo etch. If you have more questions just PM me. And I will try to answer all your questions. By the way the 1968 Grumpys Toy was not a Pro stock just Super Stock. John Pol Edited April 4, 2012 by John Pol
