crazyjim
Impressive, Don. You know me - if it's SHINY :) I like it. Candy tangerine sounds like a great color. If you need our FAST logo in a jpeg file, just let me know and I can send it to you.
GrandpaMcGurk
Appreciate it Jim........why not, E it to me and we'll give it a try. Would be kinda cool to have our logo on a model for our shows.
jnickel
I like the flat primer idea with the logo.. maybe the logo, some types of sponsor logos.. all glossed out so they pop to the viewer? It looks pretty sweet with the way you lined up the chassis. I dig it!
Trans Am Erik
This thing is sweet, I love funny cars. I'm surprized that there wasn't one of these things tearing up the tracks in the70's. Hey Don, have you ever seen the full size pro-mod 49 Merc?
GrandpaMcGurk
I don't believe I have Erik......sounds way cool!
rmvw guy
Wow you got it working! What we've got here is a tutorial.
GrandpaMcGurk
Ron if you want to call my post a "tute" that's fine with me. I didn't set out to do a tutorial but if you see anything in my posts that works for you......it yours. All I'm doing is having fun and sharing how I do this and that. I'm no expert and certainly haven't attained the skill level of some of the other members on this forum. As long as you enjoy viewing the pics.....I'm a happy camper. Bartster
Wow, Don! how did I miss this one? I'm probably too late, but I've always wanted to try flat black with BMF flames! The '49 Merc would be the perfect body for it!
GrandpaMcGurk
Thanks guys, glad it's pleasing your orbs. So far it's pretty much hit the mark for what I was trying do. I wanted it to at first glance with the body down appear to be just a cool hot rod lead sled.........but surprise, surprise...with the body flipped up...a 70's era full house funny car.
