I built this one last year, as Stardust Casino Tribute, just because I really like the Stardust, and in the 60's I think it was a the top, so build a '62 Impala was a nice fit...

Here the kit, I don't build a lot of newer kit, but this one was very nice, nice plastic, kind of soft, that you can cut easily. Nice decals and tires too...

The first thing I did was make the front wheels turn...

Th trunk, I build it in a custom way, for have more space I need to let fit the three slot machines.

It is time for work on the body... :) First thing was to remove all the molding, not to difficult to do because of the soft plastic. After swapping the roof with one I had from a '69 SuperBee, the reason I didn't like the stock roof, because of its bend that looks a convertible and it is too square... The SuperBee one, was better for it... :)

The front end part, on top of the grille also was modified, made little more pointy... The inside of the hood was covered as much as possible...

Here the chassis, it was lowered a little bit, newer front springs, and tires...

The dashboard was also modified, I don't know how many time I try it with the interior and body for make fit all together...

The front end with the same grille pattern also on the bumper.

Here you can have a little idea of the back of the interior, I simulate the color scheme like on the hotel.

Here another picture that someone took at one show, you can have a better idea of the blue/red scheme on the back of the interior.

This one, the blue/red with the diagonal cut. From the pic above you can see only stripes...

Here a better view for the slotmachines. I build all three of them, I probably still have somewhere the original pattern I made... On the right, you can see a matchbox from the casino... :)

Pretty neat idea and you really pulled it off. The slot machines look good and the doors flipping up to be gaming tables is ingenious! Well done!

Can I assume the poker room in in the back seat?

Wild and cool ride. Great job.

I remeber the Stardust - I can't say I gambled much there but I likes it because it was kind of "old school" Vegas in the midst of Mirage and Treasure Island garbage. I love the retro theme.

Great job Fabrizio, I couldn't done better if I was a pro-model builder myself all I can say is cngrats on a job well done. I asume this is wot the inside of a casino looks like, I'm not being funny I've never been in one not even here in Australia.
