You all know the look when paint sits in the sun for years with out any TLC,Well how do you make that effect?

Clear flat paint may work. Made by Testors. May be some other brands. Good luck. That would be to first paint shiney base color followed by flat clear

Not only using flat clears but also doing some sanding with 800+ grit sandpaper will also take your shine down. Also a car never fades evenly over the whole body, so sanding in addition to using flats will be necessary.
