Hey, so I've had this 1/18 delorean for about 10 years, and as I was 9 when I got it, It's not in great shape now. The lacquer has small round marks and with having another one in the Box, I've decided to paint it and have a bit of fun with it! So I'm painting it yellow, which looks quite nice on deloreans with black wheels.

And I'm making it RHD with hopefully working steering. The Dash is far from finished, needs more filling and sanding but I've only got putty, and I can't stand it. For a start it takes forever to dry, and seems to break up when applying it.

On another note, does anyone know a decent way to polish up old model windows? It's got a few scratches and isn't looking it's best.

Sounds pretty good, I'd like to see it in yellow. As far as the windshield goes some people use super fine wet or dry sandpaper and then various polishing compounds. I have used Future with good results. Not sure what future is called in your country.

Thanks for the advice, my dad has some superfine rubbing compound I just remembered about, I'll get that when I'm home next from uni.

Here's a picture of the working steering. The interior will go black. And I might use this LHD conversion in my stock delorean, to make one of the 25 or so official RHD deloreans.
