Try modifiying the italeri 5964 hood try your local truck dealer they may have the truck with style you want snap all angles of hood n have fun modeling it the 5964 hood can b modified no probs

Thanks for the info guys. Lets say all goes well and I make a hood that will work. Is it hard to make a master to cast others? Are there people willing to do that part of it? Sorry for all the questions, just digging for info..

If you make a nice hood master, there are several resin casters that would probably cast it for you. Eric at P&P Resins is one of them. He's here on the forum.

Just a quick note regarding the name Constellation, this actually refers to the cab, that debuted IIRC...1999-2000. Anything built before this date is considered a Heritage cab, both of the Italeri Western Star's are 5900 models with a Constellation cab.

So the latest generation of cabs are the Starlight?

The name Starlight refers to the sleeper, this was a new design for the company. The floor was two pieces of aluminum with a composite material sandwiched between them. If you look at the side profile of corrugated cardboard, this is what it resembled.
