Dr. Cranky Posted April 17, 2012 Author Posted April 17, 2012 Thank you, Chris. I am checking it out and enjoying it. Wow.
Dr. Cranky Posted April 17, 2012 Author Posted April 17, 2012 A forum dedicated to road finds, etc . . . very cool, my friend.
Dr. Cranky Posted April 20, 2012 Author Posted April 20, 2012 Tim, these are gems that we still find by the sides of the road. I can't imagine a day when they are all gone. Those who restore such machines are doing a great service.
Danno Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 This ones mine that I found in Kansas... WOW!! My Dad's hometown! He was born and raised there, CGHS football star. My Grandfather was the town marshal of a nearby "suburb" ~ that reads, really, really small nearby town; even smaller than Council Grove! I've seen that rig ... way back in the day ... when it was in service! Great looking piece, Dave!!! Thanks for sharing it. I'll have to visit your website ... I assume there are more pics ...
cargostar Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I have more pics of it,(none on my site), but I'm tring to find more! The department pulled some stuff off of it, and I'm tring to figure out whats missing. Heres one of us bringing it home, making a stop in Alta Vista to remove the vintage IH sign off of the old dealership.
