I enjoy building 1/16 cars. I had the idea of building a tractor trailer with car hauler to help display some of my works when done. I have been watching Ebay and Wow!!! I can not believe how expensive these trucks go for. I ubnderstand that they are relativley well, HUGE, but man, upwards of $200 for a good tractor and upwards of $100 for a good trailer, not to mention I really have not found a suitable car hauler trailer. I have always wanted to build a truck, but maybe that will have to remain a dream for some time!!Mean while I will just surf some of your guys builds. and enjoy from a distance.

I saw a Revell Germany trailer at my LHS, it holds six 1:24 or 1:25 cars. I can check to see if its still there?

If you are looking at the Monogram 1/16 trucks expect to pay big $$$ on ebay. There were only three tractors: a Kenworth W-900, a Kenworth Aerodyne, and a Peterbilt 359. The only trailer release was a regular flatbed.

You'd probably have to buy the flatbed and scratch build a hauler body.

What's goin' on...

Yeah those 16th scale truck/trailer kits are getting to be few and far between. Be patient keep your eyes and ears open and you'll a few. If you get the itch bad enough to scratch the best truck kit (if you haven't built any truck kits)to get would be the Revell 25th scale 359 Peterbilt snap tite kit. That's a good one for a first truck kit.

Looks as though a trailer would have to be scratch built then. I have been contemplated to find a die-cast, but I really want to build one. Ill just keep looking.
