Getting close. That rear spoiler is very incorrect… And the engine bay is bland…

It looks great! If you want Out-Of-The-Box, then you have to live with Out-Of-The-Box; fine craftsmanship will overcome much of the detail deficiencies.

I am glad I chose to go the OOB route. To correct just the big things that can be seen if it were a curbside would be a huge undertaking, and overall, I am pleased with the way it looks. I have enjoyed building it, I don't think I would have enjoyed trying to correct the problems. The cool part is unless you really know the car, or put it next to a real one, most of the issues don't distract from the overall package. And thanks!

Oh wow...this kit has not that great of detail for being a 1/8 scale...but with the hood closed, that is a darn good-looking kit and you did a fantastic job!

Looks great...I am going to be starting on the 82 Collectors Edition Monogram 1/8 kit. I will be replicating my 1:1 81 Corvette. Ya don't see many of the bigger Vette kits being built....

Good luck with that, if it is based on this kit you'll see a lot of accuracy issues when compared to your real one. But at least the exterior looks close.

This one is done.:
