Well after watching Donns video a few times i finally painted a flawless and extremelly glossy paint job with boyds Aluma Yellow Pearl now with it being so glossy should i top coat with clear, i have dupli color clear and testors wet look lacquer clear or should i get the modelmaster clear and air brush it on, i think the rule of thumb is no lacquer over enamel just wondering if that is also for clears

If you have some byods left you could spray some on a scrap piece and the shoot it with the various clears and see what happens. I have put Testors one coat clear laquer over regular Testors enamels without incident but i wouldn't advise anyone to do it without testing it first.

Use the Testors clear top coat ! Enamel with enamel , you can't go wrong ! It will really bring the pearl and shine to the forefront .

Always happy to hear that the DVD helped out ! Good for you, fun wasn't it ?
