A little sheet styrene and bondo works wonders...

The body has been permanently attached to the chassis...fenders next.

This is very impressive, but at the same time it's sad to see all the problems. I don't expect these kits to be easy to build, but I really thought that the engineering and fit would be much better. Have been thinking about getting a Pocher kit of some kind, but now I'm not so sure anymore. I get mad enough when the parts in a $10 1:25 kit don't fit, so it might not be good for my sanity...

Pochers are known for their fit issues...so I knew going in what was in store. Nothing that can't be fixed with a little bondo or ingenuity. In the end it's all worth it, because the finished models are pretty impressive.

It's been a while since my last update, but I've been plugging away.

I still need to install the windshield, the headlights, and clean up the wiring, but here's where I'm at:

I've spent several hours working on the hood...adding styrene and Bondo to the panels in order to improve the fit. The next photos I post should be of the finished product!

That thing looks gorgeous, Harry ! And your moving right along on it ! I haven't built a thing since you started this one! If I was building this, I probably would have put it back in the box after 3 days ! Can't wait to see this finished !
