JDM Imports Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 I have a couple builds underway that I need a few super chargers to finish them. I am also looking for resin rims that have a deeper rear off set, in something like an 18 or a 20" wheel... Any help you guys have is greatly appreciated.
Scorpius1 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Do you have any pics of the wheels you're looking for? There's a full Latham system coming out in resin in a month or two. would that help you in your search for a supercharger?
Casey Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I think Shucky/Mike is the only one making a Pro Charger at this point: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=37624
JDM Imports Posted May 1, 2012 Author Posted May 1, 2012 I don't have any pictures of the rims I am looking for but what I am looking for are rims that are wider in the rear than the front. Something like a protouring car. I want a scale 18-20" rims I've seen aoshima and fujimi have a couple sets but Thats about all I found.
Casey Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 (edited) Take a look at the Revell "California Wheels" series of kits. Some have slightly wider and larger diameter rear wheels and tires, but the offset difference between the front and rear wheels isn't huge, so I guess it depends if you want a "deep dish" look or just a slight difference. These are the Billet Specialties "Fuelie" wheels found in the Revell Goodguys '55 Bel Air Hardtop kit. You can see the slight difference in depth between the front and rear wheels: Edited May 2, 2012 by Casey
