ARTEMIS1759
I have had this on the shelf without paint and finally decided on a new layout for it. Hunter Green and Black. All trim is now black. It is the first series of this kit as are most of my models. ###### pics post like I originally had them. They won't post horizontal . Sorry about the poor quality. Cam on phone. This is progress pics: I need to repair the front axle as both ends have snapped off. This is what it looked like. Debating on leaving the chassis black or paint it hunter green? ARTEMIS1759
Its hit and miss. Sometimes it works and other times it don't work worth a ######.
signguy2108
Clear gorilla super glue and the spray activator works good. Pull 'em back where you want them and glue it. Had to do it on some old kits of mine.
Chad
I use cyanocrylate ( superglue ) and spray activator on everything, but if you want it aoart, use the deactivator and let it soak in and it will come right off. Excellent stuff! Chad

ARTEMIS1759
So this is ,y update pics. I striped it in black. I know they are more Pete stripes then Kwhopper but I liked the design. Again sorry about the quality. It still needs wet sanding to remove the rough edges and then maybe some foil and clear. I was going to paint the CAT yellow but am afraid of breaking stuff pulling it out so it will be green along with the chassis. Anyone got pointers for what Brand name and type of material would work for new windows? I broke the sleeper window coming out and windshield has a nice old glue spot in it. ARTEMIS1759
Ok so a few updates. Had to repaint the top of the cab and also did the sleeper since the holes where the air horn back tabs went had a glue build up I didn't notice right away and had to resand. So this is the repaint. Also got the kitty out of the chassis and painted it Chrysler yellow (not quite CAT yellow but close). And the rear wheels mounted. Final paint with clear and black stripes (painted)
