Art Laski Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 I'm with Mark on this one. He turned me on to Zap Formula 560 canopy glue. It is a white glue like Kristal Klear from MicroScale in that it dries clear. It is a lot tackier that Kristal Klear and any residue cleans up with water. You can get it anywhere that sells R/C aircraft stuff. Made my life a lot easier for this type of stuff. Thanks Mark! Mark gave me the same tip, and I swear by the stuff now.
charlie8575 Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 I've been using Testors clear parts cement. It's a little bit thinner than I'm used to, so there is a learning curve, but it works well. Charlie Larkin
philo426 Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 I always use Elmers white glue for the glass.Holds well and if you slop some on just wet a Q-tip and remove it .No problem!
Scale-Master Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 I don't have any instant access to any hobby supplies other than what I have...and that isn't very much I think you missed my point. I am going to guess you don't have any instant access to a new windshield either. But cement is likely easier and quicker to procure than a new part, even if it is not instantly available.
modelmike Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 AAAHHH it's great to watch someone feed off there emotions... it uses a lot on energy and gets you no where some times even sets you back.... "advice relax it's only plastic"
