PBII Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Got to build this weird little buggy. Was a out of the box build. Glue still a bit wet and some finishing touches needed but basically done. http://i1049.photobu...sTBuggySide.jpg http://i1049.photobu...sTBuggyRear.jpg http://i1049.photobu...ggyInterior.jpg http://i1049.photobu...TBuggyFront.jpg http://i1049.photobu...TBuggyextra.jpg
TooOld Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Paul , That's pretty neat looking ! I've seen the kit many times , but never have seen one completed . I like it , and a Corvair engine TOO !
CorvairJim Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Definitely cooler than any Myers Manx, mostly because of the CORVAIR POWER, but also for the outside the box thinking that went into the styling. This is one of the best jobs I've ever seen done on this model. I like your color choices.
Bartster Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 This is pretty cool. I don't remember ever seeing it before. You did a nice job! l'd love a couple sets of those tires & wheels in my stash!

Bugace Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 It's a nice donor kit for VW fans. But when You build it with out the top on, it doesn't look to bad either. You have done a very nice on this one, and it will probably be a referance for me when I see other built ones.
VW Dave Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Not my favorite bgguy style, but it looks better without the top...and this is a sanitary build to say the least. Lots of brightwork, great color choices, and plenty of details to go back and look for again. Three thumbs up! Definitely cooler than any Myers Manx, mostly because of the CORVAIR POWER Blah,blah,blah...the 'VW vs. Corvair' rhetoric is beyond old, but at least us Meyers fans can spell 'Corvair.'
