Glue_Crue_John Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Hi All, It is with deep sadness that we must let you know that our Friend and fellow Model Car Enthusiast, Paul Skoda of Rotterdam, New York passed away from a stroke. Paul was a devoted Father, and artist of the truest sense. He leaves behind his Wife and best friend of 32 years, Terry, and two daughters. His Model Car Legacy started back in the late '60's having won many awards at the New York City "Car Model" Sponsored national events. In the Eighties, he became of an integral part of the World Reknown "Adirondack Glue Crue," with a devotion to pushing the envelope of Artistry of our Awards, and in his building having created such unbelievable projects such as "the Butterfly "T"", the "Pagen", the "Madeira," and "Tiny's Music" Kustom Cars. Paul was truly one who pushed the envelope of our hobby. A True genius in Kustom Kar Design. His devotion and friendship among the "Glue Crue," and friends in this region will go on forever, and we are all forever at a loss without Paul. Wake Services will be held Thursday, July 5th 2007 at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home in Rotterdam, NY, and the Funeral will be Friday Morning July 6th. Please pass this on to our Model Car Community. Email Notes of Sympathy and remembrance's of Paul are WELCOME to be sent to us here at Eaglemaster_3357@Juno.Com and we will be honored to give them to the family. Matt T. Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 John, Sorry to hear this. The Adirondack Glue Crue was a big part of my early modeling experience. Hopefully you can get his cars together for a display in Jersey. My condolences to his wife & daughters. RIP Paul...
