jjsipes Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Just wondering what you guys use to dullcote tires? I have some resin PPP stock car tires that needs letters and then dullcote on them.
High octane Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 A couple light coats of Testors Dull-Coat works for me.
Scuderia Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 What they said. Also what i do is run some LAQUER thinner over my race tires pre decal then spray. If you forget and mount the wheels first, simply keep four dimes on your workbench. They fit perfect over the wheels and protect them from the dullcoat blast.
jjsipes Posted May 16, 2012 Author Posted May 16, 2012 I was thinking that but thougth that it was lacquer and didn't know how it would affect decals. Thanks for the info guys.
