Wow, that is really cool Chris. I wish I had something like that to model my Utility flatbed that I pull everyday. The parts are cut from a big plastic sheet, right? Where did you get that big of a sheet? Anyway, fantastic job. I like these West Coast trucks.

You can custom order plastic sheet from Evergreen or Plastruct. They will cut any size you need.

Thanks Chuck,

I was wondering about that. I plan to model my Utility 48 ft flatbed trailer eventually, and I know I will have to find sheets and other materials of a pretty good size, for the rails especially. I will check out Evergreen's website.

Chris,

This new Production/Manufacturing facility looks impressive. It certainly gives a whole lot more options for modelling trucks and trailers.

Hi there,

thnaks for the kind words and sorry for my late answer,I was very busy the last days.I delivered the last version of my Truckflatbed and the Trailer to a friend of mine.He should make a test building of it to see if all the parts will match together etc....Maybe I have to do some changes to it...if not this thing is ready to roll, lol.

FlatbedKW,yes the sheet is cut from an big palstik sheet I got some time ago...

I thoght about some other projects like an lowbedtrailer with gooseneck etc...

Actually I make some drawings for the Kenworthcab.I use the Revell smaller scale kenworth kit for reference.I want to mill some sidepanels and maybe hoodpanels to built an older kenworth.....I´ll show you pictures of it if it works...lol,and also if not....

Cheers,Chris
