MoparWoman Jamie Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Wowzers! Other than the links martinfan provided, there's very little about any of these cars. Instead of going with what they actually had under the hood i'm going to build them with what they supposedly had. Death Proof and Blade cars will have 440's and the FAST 5 car will be HEMI powered. I'm finding mixed results on the DP car. Did it have the skull and bones on the hood or not? I did find the rubber duck hood ornament on ebay but the guy wants $16 bucks for a buy-it-now. Seems a little pricey to me. Does anyone have pictures of the Death Proof roll cage they could post? The Fast Five charger had a Chevy engine in I do believe. Just go on youtube.com and look up the Fast Five charger.
MAGNUM4342 Posted May 22, 2012 Author Posted May 22, 2012 Thanks for those Shane. I'm going to try and put the extra lights in the grille if I can get it sanded open. Correct or not, I won't put a chevy engine in a MOPAR. Sorry Chevy guys.
MAGNUM4342 Posted May 23, 2012 Author Posted May 23, 2012 Well, i've found a rubber duck hood ornament on ebay. I didn't care for the price but I snagged it anyway because the alternative was over $200 for a Rubber Duck complete kit. When it arrives, i'll start my triple threat build in the workbench section. Thanks again to all who responded. If anyone has more info on the interiors of these cars please let me know here.
MAGNUM4342 Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 Rubber ducky, you're the one... I got my rubber duck hood ornament so i'll be starting the build soon. I got to see Death Proof over the weekend. Man! What a crying sissy he turned out to be. Anyway, I would appreciate any info on the Death Proof Charger's interior. I have most of the other info I need. Thanks to everyone who has already responded with information about these three cars.

Sledsel Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Correct or not, I won't put a chevy engine in a MOPAR. Sorry Chevy guys. I would not either...... I try to use as few SBC engines in kits as possible. 409 is my go to engine unless it is a mid 60's or newer car, then it is 396/454.... and they go in Chevys
