Future Floor Polish?

Hey there, this is my first post so please bare with me.I am new to this. I have read every post up to page 32 and read about Future floor polish being used as a top coat. I just put a coat on a test body to see what will happen. A couple questions about this if you don't mind.

1st: How thick of coats do I put and how many?

2nd: Do I have to polish with 2400 thru 12000 grit polishing cloths or do I just leave it? and do I wet sand or dry sand?

3rd: Do I use polish and wax or just leave it as it is wax?

I believe those are my main concerns. Any help would be great and thx taking time to help.

When you use future , you dont use wax, and you cant polish it, when putting it on, use a foam brush, and it will self level.

Well there times when the paint job does not need to be wet sanded and polish, anyways thats not point, I like having different options when it comes to modeling.

i will agree that future has it's uses in modeling but i just do not use it as a clearcoat. i've had several bad things happen when using it for various things, it worked well one time but strange stuff would happen the next time. there are much better products out there for clearcoating. as far as wet sanding and buffing.............i wetsand and buff every finish i do, habit i guess. most if not all of the top show painters use enamels, lacquers or urethanes that will outshine future any day.

Thx all for the help. Those articals helped a lot. I also use HOK Kosmic Kolor Komply Klear 2 with a medium reducer but it is way too shiny for a stock showroom car. thats why I thought I would try someting else. I do have to admit I like the sheen it gives for a stock vehicle.
